General Questions

Do you have a minimum quantity for custom print orders?

During our slower seasons, we are able to take small quantity orders; during our busy seasons, we do have a 24qty minimum for screen printing.

However, we are usually able to accommodate small quantity orders with DTG printing, even during the busy season.

What is your turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround time is within two weeks, but we can accommodate rush orders if needed.

Can I supply my own items for printing?

Yes! We don’t mind printing on items you supply, but please be aware that if there is a misprint, we will only be able to waive the printing cost for that item, not replace it.

Can I come and watch my items being printed?

We are an open shop, meaning anyone can drop by and see the presses in action during open hours! However, in order to keep our workflow efficient for custom orders at the Screen Shop, we aren’t usually able to schedule a viewing of a specific order being printed.

Artwork Requirements

What file formats do you accept?

Vector files are best for screen printing graphics, usually in one of the following formats: .eps, .ai, .pdf, .svg

If you don’t have a vector version, we may be able to convert your file from one of the following formats (please send the highest resolution possible!): .psd, .jpg, .tiff, .png

If your file is text-only, we may even be able to use a Word document or PowerPoint as a last resort!

How many colors can I include in my design?

We currently have the capacity to screen print up to 6 colors per print location (i.e., front of shirt).

Dye sublimation allows for full-color images, including photographs, so the sky is the limit!

Can you create a design for me?

Yes! We offer graphic design services at $75 per hour.

Online Campaigns

Do I need to go to Green Pea Press to start a campaign?

No, you can begin a campaign here. However, before you begin your campaign, we welcome you to come in and talk to us about your design, shirt styles, colors, and the campaign process. If you prefer, we can work out the details over the phone/email instead.

What portion of the profits will I receive from my campaign?

It depends on how you decide to price your shirts. We charge a fee for printing and order fulfillment, which is dependent on what shirt styles you choose and how many colors are in your design.

Will my design only be available on T-shirts?

You can choose a variety of goods to feature in your campaign! We offer hoodies, long sleeves, mugs, totes, and more!

How many items do I need to sell for a successful campaign?

Campaigns must sell at least 24 items to be fulfilled. If the minimum is not reached within two weeks, we will consider the campaign unfulfilled. The campaign will not go to print and Green Pea Press will cancel and refund any orders that have been placed.
