Alabama Women in Jazz Festival

from 20.00

Get ready for some toe stomping live jazz and blues music! Valley Arts and Entertainment is excited to team up with the the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Music Department and the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs to bring the community on a musical journey. The 4th annual Alabama Women in Jazz Festival will be held on Saturday, September 8 at UAH.

Valley Arts and Entertainment, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provides scholarships to assist underserved middle school, high school and/or college students pursuing a degree in any musical discipline to improve and enhance their musical skills, talents and abilities. VAE also provides dynamic musical programming and services designed to engage and promote the careers of emerging and established artists.

It is with great pleasure that we have our t-shirt designed by 2016 UAH graduate Aoife McDonnell! Profits from your t-shirt purchase will help cover costs associated with the Valley Arts Music Scholarship fund, open to female high school seniors pursuing a college degree in music.
