Youth Studio: Monotype Madness!

from 30.00

Tuesday, June 13 from 12-2pm, ages 8-12

Create colorful one-of-a-kind, painterly prints incorporating textures from botanical elements and found objects.

In this class, we will explore the possibilities of monotype printmaking. Students will apply multiple layers of ink to printing plates with paintbrushes and rollers to create their images. We will also incorporate textures using pieces of fabric, flowers, leaves, bubble wrap and more to emboss the paper. Students will take home 3 to 5 archival prints suitable for framing.
