Youth Studio: Drypoint Intaglio Masterpiece

from 30.00

Wednesday, June 14 from 12-2pm, ages 8-12

Produce an edition of archival fine-art prints of your own drawing!

In this class, students will etch an image into a special clear printing plate by tracing their own drawing using a metal stylus. They will learn mark-making techniques, how to apply ink to an intaglio plate and print it on the etching press to create multiple works of original art. We will also incorporate some monotype techniques for additional color.

Students will take home 3 to 5 archival prints ready for framing
