Located on the first floor of historic Lowe Mill, this low-toxicity studio provides resident and local artists access to equipment in a variety of fine art print media, including wood/linocut, etching, letterpress, screenprint and bookmaking.

Sponsor a drawer!



We are proud of our collection of antique metal type, available for use at the shop and preserved for future generations. Much of this type was fated to be sold by the pound as scrap for recycling! Due to our limited funds, we were unable to pay for all of it up front; we have been fortunate to purchase the remainder on IOU, which we are paying down on a monthly basis.

For $75, you can sponsor a type drawer, which will display a placard honoring the donation in your name or that of a loved one.

We will begin listing specific typefaces from our collection for “adoption” at the actual price at which they were purchased, in the interest of having a range of donation amounts, and to personalize your donation!  You can now select the typeface you wish to sponsor, and your placard will be placed on the drawer of your choice. Too cool! Here we go:
