In intaglio printing, an image is created when ink is transferred from the grooves of a plate onto the surface of the paper with a press.  Learn the fundamentals of intaglio by creating your own original prints from start-to-finish, incorporating three basic techniques: drypoint, etching and aquatint. We will use both Plexiglas and copper plates while employing some of the latest methods in non-toxic printmaking.
